Transferring to ISS

You may have heard the recent news that ISS has been awarded a new contract with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).

​

​From 1 May, 2026, ISS will deliver cleaning, catering, technical and workplace services to FCDO sites across the UK. We are extremely excited about the new partnership and the opportunities it brings.

​

You and the team delivering these services to FCDO are critical to its success so if you work in these areas – for Mitie or Gather & Gather, then your role may transfer to ISS and your current employer will confirm this.

Town Hall Sessions in January

We will be holding ‘Town Hall’ events in January so that we can meet you in-person and introduce ISS. We will then arrange 121 meetings to talk to you individually and discuss what the change means to you before the new contract starts in May. You may see members of the ISS team visiting FCDO sites to understand the estate.
