Working in Partnership

About your Transfer to ISS
From 1 May, 2026, as part of the new FCDO partnership, ISS will deliver cleaning, catering, technical services, and workplace services to FCDO sites. If you work in these areas, your job may transfer to ISS under 'TUPE' regulations. Your current employer will have confirmed if you are in scope to transfer to ISS.

What is TUPE?
TUPE stands for the 'transfer of undertakings (protection of employment)' and applies to employees of businesses in the UK. When a new Service Provider is appointed, all employees who are clearly identified as providing the services being transferred will move to the new organisation with their contractual terms and conditions of employment protected.

What will change?
There may be a few changes in the way you work – you might be dealing with new suppliers or have new equipment. Please continue your work to ensure that each FCDO site is open, safe, clean and compliant and that you and everyone on site including colleagues, employees or visitors are safe and comfortable.
ISS has been working with FCDO, Mitie and Compass to build an understanding of how you work now.

So unless you've heard otherwise, from 1 May, please continue your work as you did before and if you have any questions, speak to your Manager or the ISS TUPE team on FCDOTUPE@uk.issworld.com.
